Senior Coach

British Fencing Senior fencer Soji Aiyenuro is a native Londoner and a Brunel University graduate of Sports Science. He was an integral member of his university fencing team, winning a medal at the British University Championships and subsequently partaking in British Fencing’s World Class Program. Soji is also the 2019 gold medal winner of the Birmingham Sabre International; team gold winner at the Commonwealth Games in 2014 and team silver in 2019; as well as team silver in the 2019 British Team Championships. Soji started fencing at an early age and instantly fell in love with the sport. His passion for fencing continues as he finds great gratification in passing on his skills and knowledge to the younger generation. As a coach, Soji is uncompromising when it comes to discipline albeit he uses the most creative tactics to enforce it with a most naturally friendly character. Soji supports Liverpool Football Club and he is also a regular player for his Monday night 5-a-side team, Pat Rice & Peas.
