The Rules

Terms & Conditions

These terms govern your use of our website and services, bookings, classes, competitions and memberships. By using them, you agree to these terms.

Effective 9 July 2026

1. About us & these terms

These services are provided by Diamond Blade Limited (“Diamond Blade”, “we”, “us”). These terms apply to your use of our website and to any booking, class, course, camp, competition entry, membership or purchase you make with us. Please read them alongside our Privacy Policy and Club Policies & Safeguarding. If you book on behalf of a child, you confirm you are their parent or legal guardian and accept these terms on their behalf.

2. Bookings, classes & competitions

A booking is confirmed once we accept it and, where a fee applies, payment is received. We aim to deliver sessions as described, but we may occasionally need to change a coach, time, venue or format; where a change is significant we will let you know as soon as we can.

Places may be limited and are offered on a first-come basis. You are responsible for making sure a participant is well enough to take part and for telling us of any medical or accessibility needs in advance.

3. Payments

Prices are shown at the point of booking and are in pounds sterling. Payments are processed securely by our payment provider, Stripe; we do not store your full card details. You confirm you are authorised to use the payment method provided.

4. Memberships & recurring payments

Where you take out a membership, it renews automatically for successive periods (for example, monthly) at the price shown, and the payment method on file is charged at the start of each period, until you cancel. You can cancel a membership at any time from your account or by contacting us; cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the current paid period. Unless stated otherwise, we do not refund the current period on cancellation.

5. Cancellations & refunds

Cancellations and refunds for trials, classes, courses, camps and workshops are governed by our published cancellation and refund policies, which form part of these terms, see Club Policies. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer, including any right to cancel that applies under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

6. Conduct & safeguarding

The safety and welfare of participants is our highest priority. Participants and parents agree to follow our codes of conduct and the reasonable instructions of our coaches. We may, in line with our published policies, suspend or exclude a participant whose behaviour puts the welfare of others at risk. Our full safeguarding and welfare policies are available on our Policies page.

7. Photography & media

We sometimes take photographs or video at sessions and events. We use these only where consent has been given, and you can manage photo consent in your account or by contacting us. See our media consent policy for details.

8. Website, accounts & acceptable use

You are responsible for keeping your account details secure and for activity under your account. You agree not to misuse the website, attempt to access data you are not authorised to see, or use it in any unlawful way. We may suspend access where these terms are breached.

9. Intellectual property

The content, branding, design and materials on this website belong to Diamond Blade or our licensors and are protected by law. You may use the site for its intended purpose but may not copy or reuse our content without permission.

10. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. Fencing is a physical activity carried out at your own risk within the safety framework we provide. Subject to the above, we are not liable for loss or damage that is not a foreseeable result of our breach, and our total liability in connection with a booking is limited to the amount paid for it. These terms do not affect your statutory consumer rights.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time; the effective date above shows when they were last changed. The terms that apply to a booking are those in force when you make it.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, subject to any different rights you have as a consumer in your place of residence.
